MPU

An MPU or “mid-page unit” is a simple square box design which traditionally sits either inside or alongside content for a contextual approach. Adverts are animated and the user is exposed to the advert as they read through an article.

Mobile Banner

A mobile banner sits fixed at the bottom of the mobile page. The banner stays in position as the user scrolls through an article. It therefore can’t be scrolled past, ensuring the audience is exposed to the message for the full length of time they are on the page in question.

Wide Skyscraper

A skyscraper is delivered on the far right of the page and is delivered in the middle of the article for a contextual approach. This means the advert is positioned to the user eyeline as they read the page in question,

Leaderboard

Occupying 7/10’s of the page in width, a leaderboard sits in the traditional banner position at the top of the page and is the first thing a user sees when they view a page.

Mobile Expand

A banner which when tapped expands to display a highly engaging large creative or video – dominating the screen and engaging the user.

Mobile Card Deck

MPU

Multiple Purpose Units (MPU) These versatile square-shaped ad spaces occupy a prime spot among the web page’s main content – usually above the fold. They can include flat or interactive content and users can click through to your landing page – great for driving awareness and traffic.

Ad Bar

This is a fixed ad unit displayed across the bottom of the browser bar. Hover over it though and the ad will open up to attract user interest and increase the likelihood of a response.

Overlay

An overlay or “interstitial” is delivered on top of the page for an intrusive and dominant approach for targeting online users. The overlay sits on top of the page for a number of seconds although the user does have the opportunity to close the advert down via a cross box.
