Gazette Communities Audience Research
8 Apr 2009In July 2008 GfK NOP undertook the Gazette Communities Audience Research across 5 postal districts; TS5, TS10, TS14, TS15, TS17. Over 1,000 telephone interviews were conducted, with each interview lasting between 5 and 10 minutes.
The Gazette Communities Audience Research set out to:
- Quantify usage of the hyper local sites within their local communities.
- Establish the demographic profile of this audience.
- Measure the duplication with other TMR products serving these communities.
- Understand the different roles of the websites and sister print publications.
- Understand why people are using these sites.
- Assess the commercial value of the audience generated by the Teesside hyper local community sites.
- Find out whether children access the sites.
- What percentage of the population in each postcode accessed the sties, whether there was much crossovers between postcode areas.
