Launched at the end of January 2009, The Journal Extra is a new free weekly print publication delivering ultra-local content to Northumberland.
Building on the existing strength of The Journal brand, The Journal Extra puts a focus on community and togetherness in the region, providing great retention value by connecting with residents in a new way.
Using a unique distribution method 19,000 copies are delivered as part of The Journal throughout Northumbrland and 11,000 copies are available to pick up free from over 300* locations across the county.
